Job summary

Fayette Parts Service Inc is seeking a Parts Professional to provide prompt, courteous service in-store, over the phone, or at the dealer's shop. You will lookup parts in catalogs or the POS system and process orders with accuracy and efficiency while advising customers on the best options to meet their needs.

The role requires thorough product knowledge, familiarity with sales programs, and the ability to work retail hours at various store locations.

Qualifications

• Establish and maintain courteous, efficient, professional service to customers.
• Capable of recognizing part numbers and line codes to ensure proper selection and delivery of parts.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Enjoy working with people in a fast-paced setting; stay composed under pressure.
• Know the service area and be able to operate a vehicle with manual transmission.
• Able to work retail hours at any store location as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and demonstrate product knowledge; understand customer needs.
• Ensure correct part is secured and resolve customer issues.
• Maintain professional appearance and attitude.
• Maintain POS and cataloging procedures; learn pricing methods and asset protection controls.
• Provide sales support by processing stock orders and reporting variances.
• Participate in training as needed and required.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
