Job summary

McCandless Truck Center is seeking a Parts Advisor to maintain a well-organized, cost-efficient parts department and warehouse, promoting the sale of products and ensuring high parts availability for internal and external customers.

You will help optimize service shop utilization and foster long profitable relationships with customers, while supporting inventory accuracy and smooth department operations.

Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Technical experience preferred in dealership/warehouse environments.
  • Experience in parts sales or inventory management is desirable.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to Parts Business & Customer Relations - Supporting parts sales to external & internal customers. Contributing to the development of customer relationships through the provision of excellent customer service.
  • Support Parts Availability - Securing the availability of the right parts at the right time for external and internal customers.
  • Support Parts Operations Compliance - Contribute to the running of a well-organized and cost-efficient parts operations, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, fulling external and internal customer needs.
  • Parts Department Culture - Contribute to the environment and culture by bracing acceptance, active teamwork participation, self-peer accountability while committing to professional development.

Desired Education & Experience


  • High school education or equivalent

  • Technical experience

  • Relevant work experiences in a dealership/warehouse position

  • Further education in a relevant field an advantage

  • Forklift License
