Job description

Classic Hampton needs EXPERIENCED professional parts associates to help with our growing business. Our newest team member will utilize their vast automotive parts experience to assist our service, wholesale and retail customer needs.

What You Do:

  • Assist technicians, service advisors, and walk-in customers by providing pricing and availability as needed. Field calls to assist wholesale accounts.
  • Accurately order and track needed parts.
  • Answer phone calls providing assistance and prices as needed.
  • Process and organize orders for delivery or pick-up.
  • Ensure all cash, credit, charge, and tax-exempt sales are processed as required.
  • Receive and ship parts in accordance with company policies.
  • Restock inventory daily.
  • Ensure all returned parts are properly tracked and identified.
  • Conduct assigned daily perpetual inventory audits.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Support departmental goals by:

  • Maintaining necessary product knowledge to improve sales of associated/companion parts.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with all internal and external customers.
  • Improving sales of parts and accessories.
  • Building upon existing knowledge of products and skills using available manufacturer training.

Successful attributes and skills:

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to be a team player.
  • Ability to minimize and redirect customers' frustrations.
  • Trainable.
  • Outgoing and friendly personality with great customer handling skills.
  • Professional appearance.
  • CDK experience a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Manufacturer training certifications a plus.
