Overview
Responsible for generating revenue through the sale of marketing partnerships across all business lines, including intellectual property rights, experiential, media, branding, signage, hospitality, events, and promotions. This position will work directly with the VP and Regional Director to lead the local operation and be responsible for the sales and service of all corporate partnerships. Compensation will consist of a base salary plus sales commission. The role aims to achieve measurable financial results.
This position offers an annual salary of $45,000-$55,000 and is commission eligible.

Responsibilities
- Establish new marketing partnerships to meet annual revenue goals.
- Conduct cold calls to secure appointments and sell to new prospects among local and national companies.
- Meet with corporate partners and outside agencies at their locations to create and place branding in a timely manner.
- Analyze prospects' marketing needs based on objectives, market strategies, category potential, activation potential, and financials.
- Support regional and local management teams.
- Present proposals effectively to individuals and groups.
- Develop long-term business relationships leveraging passion and empathy.
- Communicate across departments including broadcast, accounting, marketing, community relations, and ticket operations.
- Collaborate with Event Services and Marketing teams to ensure client satisfaction and contract fulfillment.
- Prepare contracts, identify issues, negotiate rates, and address contract language concerns.
- Oversee event and premium seating staff for excellent game/event day experiences.
- Create sales action plans to meet budget goals, including new cash partnerships.
- Prospect, sell, and maintain corporate sponsorships, including renewals.
- Service sponsorships through direct contact, newsletters, gatherings, and events.
- Build regional brand relationships for potential synergy across the portfolio.
- Coordinate with outside agencies for signage creation and placement.
- Create year-end recaps of seasons for corporate partners.
- Develop and present integrated marketing packages across channels.
- Participate in events, promotions, and sales activities.
- Develop and execute special events like golf tournaments, opening night parties, and member mixers.
- Manage Slapshot Charities’ strategic planning, community impact, and fundraising activities, including game night raffles and financial reporting.
- Support community engagement initiatives to enhance visibility and funds.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of sales experience in athletics, entertainment, media, or sponsorship sales.
- Proven ability to develop and manage strategic corporate partnerships; strong prospecting, analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
- Track record of meeting challenging sales objectives in competitive markets.
- Ability to manage deadlines, work independently, and as part of a team.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Skilled negotiator capable of representing departmental standards.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce/KORE preferred.
- Ability to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
