OVERVIEW

Mayker is looking for a Partnerships Manager to lead relationship-driven growth across our client network and broader industry landscape. You’re a connector at heart—curious, proactive, and great at building rapport across a range of people and organizations. You know how to identify aligned opportunities, nurture relationships, and structure programs that translate visibility into tangible business outcomes.

The ideal fit is someone who is both strategic and hands-on. You can take a big-picture goal—like growing our presence in a key market—and turn it into a structured, measurable initiative. You thrive in business development, outreach, and creative collaborations, but you don’t rely on cold or transactional sales tactics. Instead, you lead with relevance, value, and alignment.

This is an outward-facing role. You’ll spend most of your time connecting with planners, venues, DMCs, and other industry partners—as well as identifying new client opportunities and cultivating meaningful relationships. That said, you’ll also be responsible for tracking leads, managing scalable growth programs, and helping us continuously improve our approach.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Client & Industry Development

  • Drive new business in a way that leads to measurable revenue growth
  • Lead structured outreach to planners, venues, DMCs, and corporate clients—tracking conversion rates and refining approaches based on data
  • Identify and engage new client opportunities, moving them through the pipeline with care and clarity
  • Develop inbound strategies that help convert referrals, Reserve members, and industry partners into booked clients
  • Participate in community and industry engagement—attending events, building connections, and representing the brand in strategic ways

Strategic Partnerships & Programs

  • Nurture scalable lead-generation programs (e.g., the Ambassador Program)
  • Develop relationships with high-value partners—venues, planners, brands—who align with Mayker's values and clientele
  • Lead activations that increase visibility and drive growth (e.g., showcases, styled shoots, co-hosted events)
  • Structure sponsorships and brand alignments that expand Mayker’s reach
  • Ensure that partnership efforts translate into both visibility and revenue

Tracking & Optimization

  • Monitor inbound lead trends and performance
  • Track outreach and conversion metrics to optimize our business development strategy
  • Build systems that turn one-off wins into repeatable, scalable opportunities
  • Share insights on industry trends, potential partners, and new opportunities

REVENUE & PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

Success in this role is measured by:

  • Revenue generated through partnership and outreach efforts
  • Lead conversion rates from inbound and outbound efforts
  • Number of new partners and clients brought into our network
  • Performance of scalable growth programs like Ambassador and Venue partnerships

This is a business development role, and there will be clear sales goals related to growth.

  • Equally comfortable at an industry event, a client lunch, or behind the scenes building lead lists and tracking data
  • Familiar with the events, hospitality, or creative brand experience industries

TOOLS WE USE Familiarity is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person:

  • Copper (CRM & client tracking)
  • ClickUp (task management & outreach tracking)
  • Google Sheets (for data and metrics)
  • Slack (internal communication)
  • Canva (for simple partner-facing materials)

ROLE TYPE

  • Reports to: Client Services Director
  • Travel: 20–25%
  • Environment: Remote-first, with presence required for key meetings and activations
  • Compensation: Base + commission
