Responsibilities
  1. Become the go-to expert of your category: Understand seller/buyer dynamics, community channels, influencers, and product nuances; be the face of Whatnot for your community.
  2. Seller outreach and onboarding: Source and reach out to sellers, leverage social media and in-person events, and onboard groups of sellers by teaching them how to use the app.
  3. Relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with sellers and strategic partners; collaborate on growth strategies and provide feedback on product improvements.
  4. Marketing and growth: Lead marketing initiatives such as influencer campaigns to boost brand awareness and attract buyers.
  5. Data analytics: Use basic SQL skills to derive insights, assess category growth, and identify areas for improvement to drive continuous iteration.
Minimum Requirements
  • Passion for Whatnot’s mission and community needs.
  • Up to 3 years of experience in a fast-paced, client-facing role, with a track record of working quickly and iteratively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong project management skills and strategic ownership capabilities.
  • Business acumen, analytical skills, and comfort with data manipulation to inform decisions.

Note: Candidates must be within commuting distance of our hubs in San Francisco, Los Angeles, or New York City.
