Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Tax Senior Manager, Partnerships to advise clients on partnership tax implications, allocations, and TRA calculations. You will guide process improvements and lead a team, developing client relationships and delivering strategic tax planning.

The role emphasizes senior leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration within the Partnerships practice, with a focus on delivering value and growth for clients and the firm.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) or more years of prior relevant tax experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting or consulting/professional services experience, required.
• Specialized partnership experience, required.
• Prior supervisory experience, required.
• Private equity experience, both fund and portfolio company levels, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and develops an in-depth understanding of partnership taxation.
• Develops an in-depth understanding of partnership taxation issues and opportunities.
• Trains associates, senior associates, and managers on research skills and tax issues.
