Job summary

BDO USA seeks a Tax Senior Manager, Partnerships to advise clients on the tax implications of their business objectives and partnership-specific items, including allocations, capital accounts, and TRA calculations. You will guide staff, maintain client relationships, and contribute to practice development.

You will develop and drive tax strategies, oversee research, and ensure effective tax planning for private equity portfolios and partnerships across engagements within a dynamic national

Qualifications

• Eight (8) or more years of prior tax experience and/or public accounting experience, required
• Specialized partnership experience, required
• Prior supervisory experience, required
• Private equity experience, both fund and portfolio company levels, preferred
• CPA/Attorney/EA or equivalent preferred
• Strong communication and client-relations skills required

Responsibilities

• Maintains and develops an in-depth understanding of partnership taxation issues
• Organizes and conducts external CPE training sessions at least annually
• Trains and mentors associates, senior associates, and managers
• Identifies research needs and frames issues for efficient analysis
• Develops, recommends, and implements tax strategies to maximize client benefits
• Leads and supervises staff on engagements and manages deadlines
