Job summary

Frazier & Deeter, a rapidly growing Top 50 accounting and advisory firm, seeks a Partnership Tax Senior Manager to lead complex passthrough engagements and mentor staff.

You will plan, review, and deliver sophisticated partnership tax compliance and consulting, advising on complex structures and planning opportunities while maintaining client relationships and ensuring high-quality service.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience focused on partnership taxation.
• Extensive experience preparing and reviewing Form 1065, Schedules K-1, and related filings.
• Advanced knowledge of Subchapter K and partnership taxation, including formations and transactions.
• Experience with IRC sections 704(b), 704(c), 743(b), and 754 elections preferred.
• Experience with multi-state partnership filings and nexus considerations.
• Active CPA license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage high-level reviews of complex partnership and passthrough tax engagements, including Forms 1065 and Schedules K-1.
• Serve as a technical resource on Subchapter K and partnership tax matters for client teams.
• Advise on partnership structures, transactions, and planning opportunities to support client objectives.
• Develop and mentor staff, strengthen client relationships, and grow the Passthrough Tax practice.
• Lead client meetings and translate complex tax concepts for tax and non-tax stakeholders.
• Oversee engagement planning, budgeting, staffing, and delivery with an emphasis on quality and risk management.

Education

Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field

Active CPA license

8+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience with specialization in partnership taxation

Experience preparing and reviewing Form 1065 and Schedules K-1

Advanced knowledge of Subchapter K and partnership taxation

Experience with IRC sections 704(b), 704(c), 743(b), and 754 elections

Experience with multi-state partnership filings
