Job summary

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is seeking a Partnership Manager to lead the Palestine mission's partnership portfolio and guide its localisation agenda. The role will drive partnership cycle management, coordinate with local NGOs, civil society, public institutions, academia, and the private sector, and uphold NRC values and donor requirements.

Job Description

NRC is looking for a Partnership Manager to join the Palestine mission. The role holder will lead the country office’s partnership portfolio, provide strategic leadership to its localisation agenda, lead the partnership cycle management process, and represent NRC in partnership coordination forums.

If you are strategic and visionary leader with strong coordination, communication, networking, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills; a hands‑on mindset; and the ability to learn quickly, adapt, and turn ideas into practical results, then this is the role for you!

What You Will Do

• Localisation strategy implementation.
• Partnership programming strategic and technical leadership, integrating partnerships throughout the project cycle management process.
• Partnerships systems, tools, guidelines, and procedures development and maintenance.
• Partner organisation capacity sharing responsibility, to identify priorities, develop joint capacity sharing plans, and monitor progress.
• Relationship building and development with local NGOs, civil society organisations, other national and local actors, public institutions, academia, and the private sector.
• Partnership management in line with NRC policies, humanitarian principles, donor requirements, and partnership standards.
• People leadership, including the performance management, workforce planning, recruitment, staff induction, staff development, and duty of care.
• NRC representation in relevant partnership coordination platforms.
• Safeguarding and Anti‑Corruption standards and principles active promotion.

What You Will Bring

• Relevant senior level experience within an NGO/international organisation.
• Grants’ management, partnership, and/or coordination expertise.

• National, international, and local civil society organisations background.
• Palestine and the Middle East context experience and knowledge.
