Job summary

Google is seeking a Mid Partner Solutions Engineer in Ann Arbor, MI to advance digitization platforms and machine-learning workflows. You will design, build and scale internal tools for digitization services, collaborate with global engineers, and mentor junior team members.

You will work with hardware and software in industrial settings, optimize workflows, and develop dashboards and reports to support operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • 3 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.

Responsibilities

  • Build, test and launch internal tools to power digitization services.
  • Maintain existing tools and hardware and collaborate with regional technician teams.
  • Develop operational databases, reports and support tools.
  • Optimize workflows by identifying inefficiencies and automation opportunities.
  • Partner with global engineers, developers and operations teams to scale projects beyond book scanning.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $123,000-$176,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
