Role Overview
The Salesforce Practice Lead will be responsible for building and scaling the Salesforce business across Manufacturing, High-Tech, and Life Sciences. The role combines business growth, Salesforce alliance management, solution strategy, competency development, and executive client engagement.
The practice will have a strong focus on Agentforce, Data Cloud, B2C Commerce, Experience Cloud, and Health Cloud.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the overall growth and strategic direction of the Salesforce practice.
- Build and expand relationships with enterprise Salesforce customers.
- Develop strong relationships across the Salesforce ecosystem and drive joint go-to-market and co-sell opportunities.
- Work closely with Salesforce account executives, solution teams, and partner leadership to develop pipeline and strategic opportunities.
- Lead executive client conversations, strategic pursuits, solution positioning, proposals, and large deal development.
- Build differentiated capabilities across - Agentforce & AI, Data Cloud, B2C Commerce, Experience Cloud, Health Cloud.
- Develop repeatable industry solutions, accelerators, and solution frameworks.
- Build industry-focused Salesforce offerings for Manufacturing, High-Tech, and Life Sciences.
- Identify opportunities to combine Agentforce, Data Cloud, Commerce, Experience, and industry clouds into broader enterprise solutions.
- Work closely with sales and delivery leadership to ensure opportunities are commercially viable and executable.
- Build and mentor senior Salesforce architects, competency leaders, and consulting teams.
- Maintain alignment with Salesforce's product roadmap, partner strategy, AI strategy, and market priorities.
- Serve as the senior market-facing leader for the Salesforce practice.
- Establish executive relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, digital leaders, Salesforce executives, and business stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong ownership, commercial judgment, and executive presence.
- Operate effectively across sales, alliances, solutioning, competency development, and delivery.
- Build a scalable practice with strong governance, quality standards, and accountability.
Travel & Other Requirements
- Willingness to travel regularly to customer locations, Salesforce offices, industry events, and company locations.
- Ability to support executive meetings, workshops, pursuits, and critical engagements onsite when required.
- Flexibility to work across multiple time zones and global teams.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, growth-oriented consulting environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to independently drive initiatives from strategy through execution.
Experience
- 15+ years of enterprise consulting, Salesforce, CRM, digital transformation, or related experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading and scaling a Salesforce practice or significant Salesforce business unit.
- Strong experience with Salesforce enterprise transformation programs and solution selling.
- Experience across Agentforce, Data Cloud, B2C Commerce, Experience Cloud, and/or Health Cloud.
- Proven experience developing and closing complex enterprise Salesforce engagements.
- Strong relationships and experience within the Salesforce partner ecosystem.
- Industry experience across Manufacturing, High-Tech, and/or Life Sciences.
- Experience working with geographically distributed and global delivery organizations.
