Job summary

Happen Bank (formerly LendingClub) is seeking a Partner Operations Manager in San Francisco to build scalable operating workflows for partner onboarding, launches, and ongoing management. You will partner across Product, Engineering, Credit, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Analytics to drive faster execution and stronger controls.

Qualifications

4+ years in partner operations, business operations, program management, or related field in fintech or banking.
Experience building or supporting operational workflows, playbooks, governance structures, and repeatable processes.
Strong program management skills and ability to create clarity in ambiguous situations.
Ownership mindset; ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive results.

Responsibilities

Build and continuously improve scalable operating workflows for partner onboarding, launches, marketing changes, product enhancements, compliance reviews, and ongoing partner management.
Coordinate cross-functional delivery plans from concept through execution, managing milestones, dependencies, approvals, risks, decisions, and launch readiness.
Support coordination of regulatory examinations, audits, compliance reviews, and internal control activities with documentation and deadlines.
Create and maintain a reliable source of truth for partner agreements, contacts, product configurations, technical requirements, marketing materials, approvals, and operating procedures.
Monitor partner and business performance, investigate trends, and translate findings into actions and recommendations.
Lead recurring operating cadences and develop concise executive updates on performance, risks, decisions, priorities, and next steps.
Identify opportunities to simplify or redesign processes, using AI and automation where appropriate to improve speed, quality, accountability, and visibility.
