Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. in McKinney, TX, seeks a Software Engineering Manager for Partner Integrations to lead API and EDI integration initiatives.

You will drive onboarding, design scalable solutions, and ensure production readiness, while balancing rapid delivery with long-term platform strategy. The role requires hands-on leadership in cloud-native integration patterns, security, and observability, with a focus on reusable capabilities across partner ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a hands-on engineering leader in API development and system integrations.
• Minimum 5 years of experience building cloud-native applications and integrations using Microservices or SOA.
• Strong expertise in Azure and RESTful APIs; EDI standards and common transactions (850, 855, 856, 810, 846).
• Experience designing partner-facing APIs and external integrations.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of security standards (OAuth, API security).
• Experience with observability and AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding of new partners and customers across API and EDI integration models.
• Act as the primary engineering leader supporting partner integrations with business development and product teams.
• Translate partner requirements into scalable integration solutions and promote reuse.
• Evaluate integration patterns (REST, event-driven, EDI) and hybrid approaches.
• Own integration delivery from onboarding to production stability.
• Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and integration applications for partner growth.
• Lead a high-performing Agile team delivering integration solutions.
