Job summary

Confidential search in Northern Virginia seeks an accomplished Partner Employment Attorney to lead a growing Labor & Employment practice. This on-site role requires an established reputation in employment law and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.

The ideal candidate will bring a portable book of business of at least $500,000, along with significant experience advising employers on complex matters and business development.

Qualifications

• Must hold a J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Virginia Bar license or ability to obtain promptly.
• Portable book of business of at least $500,000, ideally in Northern Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a sophisticated employment law practice.
• Represent employers in litigation before state and federal courts and agencies.
• Advise clients on compliance with employment laws at all levels.
• Counsel employers on investigations, wage/hour, discrimination and covenants.
• Draft and negotiate employment documents and policies.
• Develop and maintain client relationships while expanding the practice.
• Mentor associates and staff and collaborate with other partners.
