Job summary

SNI Companies is seeking an Experienced Attorney (Partner) in Litigation & Employment to lead and grow the Employment Practice in Annapolis/Baltimore, MD. The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and building client relationships within a reputable firm.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of employment-law experience, a JD from a recognized law school, and active MD Bar status. This on-site position offers growth and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active Maryland State Bar in good standing.
• Minimum 5+ years of employment law experience, focusing on litigation.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Familiarity with EEOC and NLRB rules is preferred.
• Ability to lead and grow a practice and manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert counsel on complex employment law issues including discrimination, harassment, wage/hour, and employee benefits.
• Represent clients in litigation, arbitration, and mediation related to employment disputes.
• Review, negotiate, and draft employment contracts and severance agreements.
• Prepare and file court documents and manage discovery.
• Lead business development to expand the employment practice; mentor junior attorneys and staff.
• Collaborate with colleagues across practices to deliver integrated solutions.
