*Current residency in Kansas, Missouri, or Tennessee and current data infrastructure (storage, networking, servers, security, backup, and disaster recovery) channel experience required *This is a remote role with travel within the area required.

The Role

The Partner Account Manager is responsible for building and growing business alliances and partnerships within key partner accounts. As the local execution lead for the region, the PAM ensures the identification, retention, growth, and customer satisfaction of strategic businesses, working in sync with regional Account Managers. The PAM collaborates with internal departments on contracts, renewals, and upgrades of existing agreements, and conducts strategic analysis of market trends and competition to develop joint solutions and new opportunities.

The PAM is accountable for achieving revenue and margin objectives within the account. They support the Americas leadership and coordinate operational aspects of the assigned Business Partner, including tactical and strategic planning, relationship development, and operational oversight, with a focus on driving revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a regional business strategy covering short, medium, and long-term goals with key regional partners, including solution prioritization, catalog development, field engagement, executive alignment, and pipeline management.
  • Establish medium and long-term business objectives, investment plans, and strategy shifts necessary for significant growth.
  • Manage primary Partner executive relationships as part of the broader strategic plan.
  • Spend approximately 80% of time pursuing opportunities through daily contact with assigned accounts.
  • Build strong relationships at all levels within the accounts and lead account-related activities to outperform competitors, including quarterly QBRs with executives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop repeatable, market-accepted solution offerings that provide joint wins for HV and partners.
  • Create and maintain a high-priority pipeline and forecast, and report on financial results and progress regularly.
  • Engage with HV Field Sales to educate on partner solutions and ensure proposal integrity, including deal structure and pricing.
  • Drive activities and strategic solutions to meet or exceed sales quotas.
