You will establish and implement core proficiencies of Splunk’s partner program aligned with Federal DOD/IC initiatives. Working closely with our sales team, you will facilitate cooperative account and opportunity development within our Partner and VAR ecosystems.

The Partner Account Manager will cultivate existing and develop new partner relationships to generate partner-led pipeline and grow partner-influenced business, meeting or exceeding set goals.

Minimal travel required.

Role and Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate within a Federal DOD/IC team to increase partner leverage across the region.
  2. Meet and exceed sales quotas while adhering to company rules.
  3. Develop marketing and pipeline plans to boost partner-driven sales.
  4. Create and execute business plans for assigned VARs, conducting quarterly reviews to meet revenue and business objectives.
  5. Stay informed on major Federal DOD/IC programs and align Splunk solutions accordingly.
  6. Communicate effectively with partners regarding products and services.
  7. Continuously learn about new products and enhance selling skills.
  8. Provide weekly pipeline and forecast reports.
  9. Monitor competition and market trends.
  10. Present company initiatives, product overviews, and partner program details.
  11. Lead engagement in contract capture, RFP responses, and campaigns as the main contact for VARs.
Requirements
  1. 5+ years of channel and/or direct sales experience in IT infrastructure solutions/services to Federal DOD/IC.
  2. Proven success and knowledge with VARs in the Public Sector.
  3. Experience in Software IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management; SaaS experience preferred.
  4. Deep understanding of Federal DOD/IC contract vehicles.
  5. Excellent interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills.
  6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  7. Ability to work independently and remotely.
Education and Experience
  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  2. US Citizenship required.
