Meet the Team

As a Partner Account Executive, you will need to build trust, credibility, and relevance with Partners' sales teams to increase the number of active Partner sellers of Cisco solutions. Success requires a strong background in customer-centric sales of Cisco solutions and the ability to coach by example, adopting a "train, instruct, position" methodology for Partner Account Management success.

You will also focus on driving strategic alignment between our Partners and Cisco's end-user sales teams to maximize collective success. This involves working with Cisco Regional Sales Managers to develop, communicate, and execute regional go-to-market plans.

Your Impact

The Partner Account Executive must possess extensive knowledge of sales and channel dynamics. Experience as a Commercial, Enterprise, or SLED Account Manager is preferred. The candidate must establish credibility quickly with Partner principals and sales teams, inspire trust, and be viewed as a sales leader capable of training, instructing, and supporting Partners in positioning Cisco's solutions.

Strong listening, recommendation, and influence skills are essential. A robust network of executive relationships is advantageous. The role requires strategic thinking, effective communication, and influence skills.

You will be customer-focused, achievement-driven, and possess an impressive executive demeanor. A team-oriented, collaborative approach, along with excellent presentation skills, including verbal and written communication, are required.

The individual must demonstrate business maturity, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to a high-energy, dynamic environment characterized by high growth expectations and a collaborative culture. The role involves working independently and with diverse teams regularly.

Role & Responsibilities

You will influence Partners' business transformation by developing and promoting their unique value propositions, sales and operational processes, and internal consumption of Cisco solutions.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Sales, Account, or Partner experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with channel partners, distributors, or within a technological ecosystem
  • Experience managing indirect sales models and driving revenue through partner channels
  • Proven success in achieving revenue targets and building strong channel relationships
  • Understanding of Cisco's partner ecosystem
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Sales and Channel dynamics, with prior experience as a Commercial, Enterprise, or SLED Account Manager preferred
  • Ability to build trust and credibility with partner principals and sales teams, inspiring confidence as a sales leader who can train, mentor, and support partners during customer engagements
  • Strong listening, recommendation, and influence skills with Partner executives; a robust network of executive relationships is ideal
  • Strategic thinking and effective communication and influence skills
