We are seeking a proficient sales professional with a proven track record in a vibrant, rapidly growing company. This individual will be a key asset to our fast-paced, high-growth division focusing on Partner Sales at Yelp.

Role Overview

The Partner Account Executive is responsible for securing new business by building relationships with digital marketing agencies that serve SMBs. These agencies resell and purchase Yelp's Local products, contributing significantly to our growth.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will quickly understand our business and demonstrate the value of Yelp's products and partnership programs. They will be motivated, enthusiastic, and skilled at developing strategic relationships and generating new business. A consultative sales approach, understanding agency models, and meeting revenue targets are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build and maintain relationships with SMB digital marketing agencies and their advertisers.
  2. Possess a Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience in Digital Advertising Sales.
  3. Create consultative sales presentations to showcase Yelp's advertising solutions.
  4. Lead training to enhance agency campaign capabilities.
  5. Achieve and surpass quarterly and annual revenue goals.
  6. Manage partner relationships to meet and exceed targets.
  7. Identify new agency partnerships aligning with Yelp's criteria.
  8. Map agency structures and decision-making processes.
  9. Provide accurate sales forecasts and plans.
  10. Engage regularly with agencies to nurture relationships and maintain Yelp's partnership prominence.
  11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to grow revenue.
  12. Maintain a positive attitude and readiness to succeed daily.
Qualifications for Success
  1. Experience in digital advertising and working with or within marketing agencies.
  2. Familiarity with pay-per-click advertising; knowledge of Google Local Services Ads is a plus.
  3. Proven success in meeting sales goals.
  4. Experience working with senior marketing stakeholders.
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  6. Adaptability to startup environments and fast-paced workplaces.
  7. Self-motivated, team-oriented, and target-driven.
  8. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Salesforce.
