Summary

Yelp is seeking a driven, high-energy sales professional to join our fast-growing Partner Sales team. This is a hunter role focused on identifying, prospecting, and closing new agency partnerships serving small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

As a Partner Account Executive, you’ll be on the front lines of Yelp’s growth, pitching our advertising solutions to digital marketing agencies that want to help their clients succeed locally. You’ll build relationships, craft compelling pitches, and demonstrate how Yelp’s platform—including API capabilities—can drive results for advertisers.

What You'll Do
  1. Prospect and pitch digital marketing agencies aligned with Yelp’s partner program and standards.
  2. Manage the full sales cycle—from sourcing to closing new agency partnerships.
  3. Deliver data-driven sales presentations demonstrating Yelp’s advertising solutions, especially CPC and performance-based products.
  4. Explain the value of Yelp’s API integrations to agencies seeking to scale or automate campaigns.
  5. Identify decision-makers, budget owners, and influencers within agencies.
  6. Exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  7. Provide sales forecasts and pipeline updates to leadership.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams for seamless onboarding of new partners.
  9. Spend about 80% of your time on sales and outreach, 20% on account and campaign management.
  10. Stay informed on industry trends, agency models, and digital advertising best practices.
  11. Approach each day with a positive attitude, growth mindset, and readiness to win.
What It Takes To Succeed
  1. 3+ years in digital advertising sales, preferably with marketing/advertising agencies.
  2. Proven success in exceeding sales targets in a new business/hunter role.
  3. Strong understanding of CPC advertising models and performance media.
  4. Familiarity with platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or LSA is a plus.
  5. Experience selling or working with API-based solutions in digital marketing or ad tech.
  6. Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  7. Self-motivated with ownership and accountability.
  8. Comfortable with ambiguity and thriving in a fast-changing environment.
  9. Proficient in Salesforce, PowerPoint, Excel, or similar tools.
  10. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
