Job summary

EGGER North America is seeking a Particleboard Pre-Production Operator to safely operate and monitor equipment in the Particleboard department, supporting the preparation and processing of wood chips and recycled wood materials for particleboard production. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork in a 12-hour rotating shift pattern.

The position requires the ability to perform machine startups, monitor processes, conduct quality checks, and document production data while following PPE

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to use PPE.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and monitor production equipment.
• Perform startups, shutdowns, setups, and changeovers.
• Monitor processes for quality and efficiency.
• Document production and quality data.
• Follow safety standards and 5S.
• Communicate during shift handovers.
• Stop work when unsafe conditions arise.
