Job summary

DelRicht Research in Hendersonville, TN is seeking a Participant Care Technician to deliver exceptional patient care in clinical trials. You will guide patients through their visits, ensure adherence to protocols, and support enrollment and retention activities while acting as a primary contact for sponsors and CROs.

The role emphasizes on-site patient care, accurate data entry, and timely communications with physicians, with a base salary in the mid range for the region and a strong benefits

Qualifications

• 1+ of professional experience patient-facing or healthcare position.
• Preferred CMA/RMA/CCMA or RN/LPN license.
• Preferred BS/BA from an accredited university.
• Preferred on-site, customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care and a great experience in clinical studies.
• Ensure visits are accurate, efficient, and protocol-compliant.
• Support enrollment and retention activities with focus and follow-through.
• Perform intramuscular injections safely and accurately.
• Enter clinical data accurately across medical record systems.
• Act as lead contact for sponsors and CROs for trials.
• Maintain excellent customer service for onsite and offsite communication.
• Provide timely protocol updates to physicians.

Participant Care Technician’s Main Objective

Overall, the Participant Care Technician is responsible for providing quality, excellent patient care and a great experience for our patients in our clinical research studies:

• Patients have a fun, positive and comfortable experience throughout their time in our clinic
• Patient visits are completed accurately and efficiently, with 100% adherence to clinical trial protocols
• Patient enrollment and retention activities are executed with focus and follow-through
• Intramuscular (IM) injectors are performed safely and accurately.
• Clinical data is entered accurately and on time across various medical record systems and platforms
• Lead and main point of contact for Pharmaceutical Sponsors and Contract Research Organizations for all clinical trials
• Ensuring sponsors and clients have amazing customer service when they are onsite at our clinic and assuring we are always providing clear, constant communication with them when they are off site
• Physicians receive timely patient and protocol updates that reinforce confidence in the site team

Skills needed to win

• Required: 1+ of professional experience patient-facing or healthcare position
• Preferred: Active medical assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA) or nursing (VN, LPN, or RN) license
• Preferred: B.S. or B.A. from an accredited university
• Preferred: Professional experience providing direct patient care in a medical or clinical environment
• Preferred: Experience in an on-site, customer-facing role
• Coffee drinkers preferred. Tea drinkers accepted.

Job Type: Full-Time 40+ hrs

Location: Hendersonville, TN with up to 20% travel to our Smyrna, TN clinic

Base Salary: $55,000-$67,000, dependent upon prior experience and credentialing
