Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead corporate communications technology initiatives in Chicago. This role partners with business and IT leaders to deliver complex projects on time and within budget, with strong governance and executive communication.

Partial remote work is available, and the candidate will drive delivery across digital platforms, AI-enabled solutions, and enterprise applications.

Qualifications

8+ years of IT project management in large enterprise environments.
Experience managing budgets, timelines, resources, risks, and project governance.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate with executive stakeholders.
Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.
Proficiency with project management tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, MS Project.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects, including planning, execution, testing, deployment, and operational transition.
Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, scope, and dependencies.
Maintain project governance artifacts including RAID logs, status reports, project plans, and executive communications.
Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues while driving resolution across cross-functional teams.
Facilitate stakeholder meetings, project reviews, and Steering Committee (SteerCo) updates.
Partner with business leaders, technical teams, vendors, and PMO leadership to ensure successful project outcomes.
