Fort Wayne Zoo is seeking a part-time Operations Services Assistant to join our team. The role supports warehousing, event setups, and external vendors, with a focus on guest experiences and safe, efficient operations.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings. Benefits are available for part-time staff, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license required and ability to operate Zoo vehicles.
• One year of maintenance or operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping and receiving procedures.
• Provide ongrounds support for technology, including kiosks, audio, and video.
• Stock warehouse supplies.
• Work with external companies to ensure deliveries stay on track.
• Monitor and fulfil meeting space setup requests.
• Monitor and fulfil event space setup requests.
• Monitor external vendor vending machines.
• Input and track operations data.
• Assist with custodial program.
• Assist with storage areas, ensuring proper stocking and inventory.
