Job summary

Fort Wayne Zoo is seeking a Part-time Operations Services Assistant in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The role covers multiple duties including general cleaning, warehouse support, and coordinating with external vendors to keep deliveries and services on track.

You will also assist with meeting and event space setups and support the Zoo’s guest experiences. This position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, with a focus on safe, efficient operations and strong guest

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate Zoo vehicles are required.
• One year of maintenance or operations experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates shipping and receiving procedures.
• Provides ongrounds support for technology, kiosks, audio, and video as needed.
• Stocks warehouse supplies and tracks inventory.
• Works with external vendors to ensure timely deliveries and services.
• Monitors and fulfills meeting and event space setup requests.
• Maintains cleanliness in public and behind-the-scenes areas.
• Assists with custodial programs and safety compliance.
• Provides customer service and guest assistance as needed.
