Job summary

Child Guidance Center seeks a part-time outpatient therapist to serve youth ages 0–17 in a supportive, mission‑driven setting in Northeast Florida. You will deliver high‑quality care within a collaborative team focused on client success and staff development.

The role offers 20–29 hours per week, with schedules Mon‑Thu 7:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m. and/or Fri 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., and competitive compensation with service‑based pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a Florida license‑eligible program (Counseling, Social Work, or MFT)
• Eligibility to register as an intern in Florida (RMHCI, RCSWI, RMFTI)
• Moderate computer skills (EHR and Microsoft Office Suite)
• Reliable transportation, valid Florida driver’s license, and auto insurance
• Commitment to trauma‑informed care and family‑centered therapy
• Level 2 clearance from DCF Clearing House (https://info.flclearinghouse.com)

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic services to a full caseload of children and families
• Complete intake forms, psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in the Electronic Health Record
• Meet team productivity, billing, and documentation standards
• Utilize the family systems approach to engage clients and caregivers in treatment
