Job summary

Child and Family Focus, Inc. seeks a part-time outpatient therapist to provide services for children and adolescents in a flexible setting, including telehealth options. You will assess needs, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team to support wellness.

Work four evenings weekly with 3–4 shifts per week, including potential school and clinic settings; strong emphasis on documentation, confidentiality, and Trauma‑Informed Care across services.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Human Service or related field including psychology, counseling, or social work.
• One or more years of experience working in an office setting.
• 2 or more years of providing therapy to children & adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to children, adolescents, and transitional aged youth through a wide variety of treatment modalities including individual, group, and family therapies in multiple settings, including schools and clinic.
• Create, maintain, and update treatment plans accordingly to address client specific needs.
• Coordinate total care by collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals to provide and facilitate care in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain caseload of minimally 15-20 clients scheduled each week.
• Schedule and see all clients every week and maintain a minimum of 12 billable hours per week.
• Responsible for completion of intake and clinical assessments for all participants on the caseload.
• Document sessions and obtain signed encounter forms at each session.
• Coordinate and triage referrals to ensure timely care.
• Serve as a liaison between Child and Family Focus and families focusing on customer service, partnerships, and advocacy.
• Utilize multiple electronic health records as needed.
• Adhere to best practice standards and OMSHAS regulations.
• Maintain electronic health record within compliance standards.
• Maintain documentation of clinical charts.
• Support families in a strengths-based manner and maintain communication.
• Limit administrative time to 30% of clinical hours billed.
