Job summary

Movement is seeking a Part‑Time Team Coach Supervisor in Fort Collins to lead a youth climbing team, partnering with the Team Manager to plan and run programming that builds life skills through sport climbing.

You will coach, mentor and supervise a coaching staff, manage administrative duties, ensure safety, and engage with parents and leadership to deliver transformative experiences for young climbers.

Qualifications

• Strong coaching presence and heart of the team.

• Passion for developing youth athletes and climbing coaches.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with athletes, parents and leadership.
• Stay organized and efficient while handling admin duties.
• Solid climbing knowledge and training background.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for the team and align with the Youth Team Manager.
• Plan season schedule including parent meetings, competitions, training camps and events.
• Lead daily practices with coaches and attend extra‑curricular events.
• Communicate issues to parents, coaching staff and gym leadership in a timely manner.
• Supervise/instruct youth climbers in bouldering, lead climbing and belaying.
• Monitor program quality and assist with performance reviews for assistants.
• Uphold safety and risk management procedures for guests and athletes.
• Assist with admin duties: rosters, applications, tryouts, notes and parent comms.
• Inspire coaching through mentorship and professional development for assistants.
• Set up and run tryouts, camps, or other events as needed.
