Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs Of The Valley is seeking a Youth Development Specialist to plan, implement, coordinate and supervise programs for youth and teens.

The role requires creating engaging activities in areas such as arts and gym, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring youth safety. The incumbent will transport youth between club locations and support program operations in a supervised environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalency.
• Must obtain/maintain current CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler’s Certification within the first 90 days of employment.
• Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates programming in various areas of the Club (arts, gym, etc).
• Manages administrative duties to include calendars, lesson plans, pre/post testing, roster keeping and participation tracking.
• Transports youth to various club locations via BGCMP vehicles.
• Ensures the safety of all members and ensures proper documentation is completed.
• Assists with Federal Food program as directed.

Education

High school diploma or equivalency
