Job summary

Boys- in Washington, DC seeks a Part Time Program Leader/Bus Driver to support Education, Social Recreation, Arts & Crafts, and Physical Education while safely transporting youth between schools and the Club.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, five years of driving a 14-passenger vehicle, a clean license history, and CPR/First Aid certification. Reports to Branch Director/Program Director and works at the Ferris Clubhouse 6 site.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years of verifiable experience driving a 14-passenger vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean three-year driving record.
• Ability to pass company-sponsored bus training courses.
• Previous experience working with youth.
• Familiarity with social media/app tools used by youth.
• CPR and First Aid Certification mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and supervise youth programs for ages 6-18.
• Safely transport Club members between schools and the Club, adhering to traffic laws.
• Inspect bus before/after routes and report issues to supervisor.
• Maintain timesheets and attendance records for routes and activities.
• Support events, member registration, and orientation as needed.
