Job summary

Rite of Passage is seeking a Cook at Lake Granbury Youth Services in Granbury, TX. This on-site, part-time role provides the opportunity to prepare healthy meals for youth and staff and to contribute to a safe kitchen environment.

We offer training, with potential for above-entry level placement for candidates with ServSafe certification or related experience. Minimum age 21 and background checks required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Able to pass criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB tests.
• Able to pass screening of child and adult abuse central registry.
• Clean driving record and active driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare healthy and tasty food for youth and staff on-site.
• Help maintain cleanliness and safety of the kitchen and dining area.
• Be an active team player within the department; training provided; ServSafe certification may allow above-entry level start.
