Schedule: Mon-Sat, 2:00 PM-8:00 PM. Compensation: $17.50–$22.17/hour DOE and licensure. This position emphasizes respite services and collaboration with therapists and other professionals.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate support and supervision to children and youth in CY-FAST services.
• Provide respite support, spending time with children and youth and giving families a break from caregiving.
• Participate in structured activities promoting social, emotional, and coping skills.
• Assist youth with behavioral or mental health challenges.
• Help maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.
• Observe and communicate changes in behavior, needs, or safety concerns.
• Collaborate with therapists, case managers, peer support specialists, and the team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate information to the treatment team.

Join Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Part-Time Human Service Worker with the Youth Crisis Center (CY-FAST) in Provo, Utah! With a competitive wage of $17.50–$22.17/hour, this role offers the opportunity to support children and youth experiencing mental health challenges while working alongside a dedicated, multidisciplinary team. CY-FAST (Children, Youth & Family Assessment Stabilization Team) provides services including mobile outreach, respite, group therapy, and support with Medicaid hospitalizations. Through respite services, Human Service Workers spend time with children and youth who may need a break from home while giving parents and caregivers a much-needed break from caregiving responsibilities. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is compassionate, adaptable, and passionate about supporting youth and families in the community.

• Experience or education in mental/behavioral health is helpful but not required
• Must pass a background check and meet WBH hiring standards
• Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.
