Job summary

Wasatch Behavioral Health in Orem, Utah, is seeking a Part-Time Human Service Worker for our Aspire Academy Program to support adolescent females ages 12–17 in a structured, therapeutic setting. You will provide compassionate supervision and help youth navigate challenges such as trauma, self-harm, substance use, and family disruption.

This position offers a schedule with varied hours and a pay range of $17.50–$22.17 per hour DOE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills desired.
• Ability to stay calm and patient in challenging situations.
• Experience or education in mental/behavioral health is helpful but not required.

Join Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Part-Time Human Service Worker, earning $17.50–$22.17/hour, at our Aspire Academy Program in Orem, Utah. In this role, you'll support adolescent females ages 12–17 in a structured, therapeutic setting, many of whom are in state custody and need intensive mental health support and supervision. You'll build meaningful connections while helping clients navigate challenges like trauma, self-harm, substance use, and family disruption. Schedule:

Sunday–Thursday/Friday (varies with program needs), 7am-3 pm and/or 1pm-9 pm (hours are varied)

Compensation:

$17.50–$22.17 DOE

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.

Salary: $17.50 - $22.17 per hour
