Job summary

Service Alternatives is seeking a part-time Youth Community Coordinator to support foster youth up to age 17. You will work as a liaison between foster parents, staff and the community team to advance behavioral and permanency goals.

You will coordinate schedules, train other staff, provide crisis support, and perform administrative duties. The role operates from Vancouver, WA with travel up to 75 miles to community and home settings, and a wage of $21 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years experience working directly with youth (OR 2 years of social services education).
• Have a clear criminal history and pass a background check.
• CPR/First Aid certification (within 30 days or paid by SA).
• Current driver license, car, and car insurance.
• TB Test: Within 7 days of first day of employment, or prior to working on site (Paid by SA).
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Liaison between foster parents, staff, and community team to support youth goals.
• Coordinate schedules, lead and train staff, provide crisis support and administrative support.
• Work in Vancouver, WA and up to 75 miles away in community/home settings.
• Support youth directly when part of duties.
