We are looking for a full‑time Youth Community Coordinator in the Central Western Washington area (Thurston, Mason, Pierce, Grays, Lewis). The candidate will work on service goals with and for at‑risk or displaced youth up to 17 years of age, coordinate youth health appointments and community time within a team setting, create weekly schedules, attend to office tasks to support youth, and lead and train other staff in direct care positions in the field and at team meetings.
Wage: $21 per hour
Program: 32
Locations: Thurston, Mason, Pierce, Grays, Lewis
Shifts: Weekdays and daytime. Weekends and nights vary depending on youth.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years experience working directly with youth (or 2 years of social services education)
- Have a clear criminal history and pass a background check
Licensing and Certifications
- Currently have or within 30 days of being hired a CPR/First Aid license (paid by SA)
- Current driver’s license, car, and car insurance
- Currently have or within 30 days of being hired to provide a Food Handlers Permit (paid by SA)
- TB Test: Within 7 days of first day of employment, or prior to working on site (whichever comes first) (paid by SA)
Preferred Qualifications
- Implementation experience in service alternatives programs (optional)
