The YMCA of Columbus in Grove City is seeking a Part-Time Youth Programs Assistant to supervise children in a safe, engaging environment while parents use the facility. You will greet families, monitor drop-off/pick-up, and lead age-appropriate activities.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 18 years old or 15.5+ with babysitting certification or in a 2-year child care program.

Collaborative team approach to solve challenges; CPR/First Aid/AED/O2 certs current.
Recommended trainings: communicable disease, child abuse recognition, child development.

Responsibilities

Supervise infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school-age children in a safe, fun environment while parents use the YMCA facility.
Greet and engage children and families; monitor drop-off/pick-up and follow policies.
Lead age-appropriate activities; maintain program space and equipment; communicate with parents.
