Job summary

Millard Public Schools seeks a Paraprofessional for the Young Adult Program (YAP) in Omaha. This part-time role (6.5 hours/day) runs Monday–Friday, 7:30–2:05, supporting young adults with disabilities to build vocational and independent living skills.

The position includes data gathering, possible job coaching, and assistance with personal care as needed, working closely with certified teachers and staff on-site.

Qualifications

• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
• Ability to work with young adults with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support 18-21 year old students with disabilities to develop vocational and independent living skills.
• Provide job coaching as needed and assist with data gathering.
• Assist with personal hygiene needs and daily living activities as required.
• Collaborate with licensed teachers and program staff to deliver instruction and supervision.
