Job summary

Millard Public Schools is hiring a Van Driver/Job Coach for the Young Adult Program in Omaha, Nebraska. The role serves students aged 18–21 with disabilities in classroom and vocational settings.

Job Description

This position serves students who are 18-21 years of age who have disabilities in both the classroom and in vocational settings.

Job responsibilities will include:

• Supporting teachers by assisting with the academic instruction of individual and small groups of students.
• Driving a van to transport students to and from school/job sites
• Supervising and assisting with lunch, cleanup, laundry and recreational duties.
• Job Coaching students on vocational placements
• Other duties as assigned

A Nebraska Drivers license with good driving record is required. If the chosen candidate does not have their Level I and Level II Van Driver Permit, training will be provided to obtain certification.

Hours: 6:30 a.m. -2:30 p.m. Monday-Friday
