Job summary

Millard Public Schools’ Young Adult Program in Omaha is seeking a Van Driver/Job Coach to support students aged 18–21 with disabilities in classroom and vocational settings.

Responsibilities include assisting with instruction, transporting students by van, supervising lunch and daily routines, and coaching students on placements. A Nebraska driver license with a good driving record is required; training will be provided to obtain Level I/II van permits.

Qualifications

• Nebraska driver's license with good driving record.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
• Level I and Level II Van Driver Permit training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teachers by assisting with the academic instruction of individual and small groups of students.
• Driving a van to transport students to and from school/job sites.
• Supervising and assisting with lunch, cleanup, laundry and recreational duties.
• Job coaching students on vocational placements.
• Other duties as assigned.
