Job summary

Millard Public Schools seeks a dedicated aide to support 18-21 year olds with disabilities in classroom and vocational settings. You will assist teachers with academic instruction and transport students to and from school and work sites.

The role runs 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, on-site. Training for van permits will be provided if needed, with ongoing support for supervising lunch, laundry and recreational activities.

Qualifications

• Nebraska driver’s license with a good driving record is required.
• Training will be provided to obtain Level I and Level II Van Driver Permits if not held.
• Experience assisting with academic instruction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with academic instruction for individuals and small groups.
• Drive a van to transport students to and from school/job sites.
• Supervise and assist with lunch, cleanup, laundry and recreational duties.
• Coach students on vocational placements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
