Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc. in Prince George's County is hiring energetic and reliable After-School Coaches to teach Yoga to elementary students in our structured enrichment programs.

This part-time, in-person role runs Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM with 1.5-hour sessions, at $37.50 per session ($25 per hour). No weekends or lesson planning required; curriculum and equipment are provided; background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Experience participating in or teaching Yoga or a related activity is preferred but not required
• Comfortable working with children in grades K through 5
• Reliable transportation to schools throughout Prince George's County
• Dependable and punctual
• Must successfully complete the required Prince George's County Public Schools background check and fingerprinting process

Responsibilities

• Teach elementary students Yoga activities
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and lesson plans
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment
• Supervise groups of approximately 15 to 25 students
• Encourage confidence, teamwork, physical activity, and participation
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership
