Job summary

Advocate Sherman Hospital in Illinois is seeking a Part-time Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographs and ensure patient safety. Shifts are mid-shift to PM, with weekend and holiday rotation, and work at hospital or offsite locations.

This 20‑hour per week position offers pay from $28.55 to $42.85 per hour. You will maintain image quality, follow ALARA, use RIS/PACS, and support compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• IEMA Accreditation in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT (RT) Certification or Certificate Eligible. For new graduates, ARRT must be obtained within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs as ordered by a physician.
• Adheres to infection prevention, isolation and sterile techniques.
• Adheres to ALARA principles to reduce exposure.
• Uses proper patient identification and ensures correct exam.
• Maintains radiographic quality and documents procedures.
• Participates in ongoing learning and CPR recertification.
