Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a part-time X-ray Technologist to join a physician-led imaging team across Glen Ellyn, Bloomingdale, Lombard, and Schaumburg locations. The role involves operating radiologic equipment, positioning patients, and ensuring radiation safety in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities include patient communication, workflow support, and adherence to OSHA regulations. Evening and holiday coverage is required, with travel as needed within the network.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent; or 6 months to 2 years related experience or training.
• Must be AART registered or eligible; IDNS licensed is required.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to produce radiographs for diagnostic purposes.
• Positions patient on exam table and adjusts immobilization devices for optimal view.
• Explains procedures to patient to reduce anxiety and gain cooperation.
• Sets exposure factors by moving x-ray equipment to specified positions.
• Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patient and staff.
• Obtains patient history and maintains crash cart inventory.
• Maintains OSHA regulations and department stock.
• Reports to lead technologist for assignments and assists with film quality control.
