Abington Memorial Hospital is seeking a Part Time X-ray Technologist for day shift and alternating weekends. The Radiology Technologist will perform x-ray scans, ensure image quality, and provide patient education before and after procedures.

The role requires ARRT certification (or equivalent) and knowledge of RIS/PACS, with emphasis on safety and accurate patient data handling. The position involves rotating shifts at the Abington location and adherence to hospital radiology protocols.

Formación

• ARRT-certified radiology technologist or equivalent qualification.
• High school diploma plus AART certification meets minimum requirement.
• Familiarity with RIS/PACS workflows and patient data handling.

Responsabilidades

• Perform x-ray scans and ensure proper image quality for diagnostic use.
• Explain procedures and obtain patient history relevant to exams.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and protect patients and staff.
• Operate and monitor radiology equipment; perform basic maintenance and cleaning.
