Abington Memorial Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Radiology Technologist to perform X-ray imaging during evenings and every other weekend. The role supports diagnostic services and patient care in the radiology department, ensuring safety and accuracy in imaging procedures.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT credentials, BLS certification, and familiarity with RIS/PACS systems, maintaining high standards of patient care and compliance with regulations.

Formación

• ARRT certification or active ARRT registry in Radiology (R).
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of RIS and PACS systems.
• State licensing requirements must be met per job location.

Responsabilidades

• Position radiographic equipment to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain relevant history.
• Protect patients with shielding and radiation safety practices.
• Maintain and sanitize x-ray equipment to ensure readiness.
• Document patient and study information accurately for billing and records.
