Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer X Ray Detection Technician for a part-time role in Indianapolis, IN. You will serve clients at a logistics and distribution site, using screening equipment and access control to maintain a secure environment.

The position emphasizes strong customer service, shift reliability, and reporting security concerns.

Qualifications

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
A background check and drug screen are required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Screen personnel, visitors, and deliveries entering the location in accordance with access-control and screening procedures.
Inspect packages, belongings, and shipments as directed and escalate concerns to site leadership.
Respond to incidents calmly, document observations, and report concerns through established channels.
Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and access points to deter unauthorized activity.
