Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time X Ray Threat Recognition in Indianapolis, IN. This role provides flexible, fixed hours with opportunities to pick up additional shifts, designed for reliable income and progression toward full-time security careers.

The position pays $17.22 per hour and follows a fixed shift with potential to earn more through the pick-up program, supporting part-time employment with stable base hours.

Qualifications

• Experience with customer service and screening procedures preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge processes preferred.
• Experience with X-ray screening preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and other items entering designated areas using approved screening equipment and procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, shipping documentation, and authorization for entry into controlled areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, business operations, and perimeter locations.
