Job summary

Cambridge-Isanti School District 911 Community Education in Cambridge, MN seeks a Water Safety Instructor to lead swim lessons and manage class safety. Qualifications

• Must hold current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans for each swim lesson and test for assigned levels.
• Direct and maintain control of class participants and ensure a safe environment.
• Accurately maintain paperwork for each class and communicate with staff and the public.
• Follow program policies, rules, and established emergency procedures; respond quickly in emergencies.
• Maintain current required certifications and perform related duties as assigned.
