Job summary

The Alden Network is seeking a Part-Time Wound Care Supervisor in Illinois to oversee direct and indirect nursing care for ostomy, wound, and related conditions. You will supervise nurses and wound care staff, ensure treatment protocols are followed, and coordinate with physicians for wound care needs.

Ideal candidates hold an active Illinois RN or LPN license, CPR certification, and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills.

Qualifications

Must hold an active Illinois RN or LPN license.
CPR certification at hire or within two weeks of employment.
Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

Directly supervise nurses, CNAs, and wound care staff to ensure protocol adherence.
Assess and document wound status and skin care.
Administer or assist with wound treatments as ordered by physician.
Review treatment orders and wound assessments for accuracy.
Educate facility staff on pressure ulcer prevention and wound care plans.
Coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic services for wound care as ordered.
